This is a simple bag for basic things to carry. Not suitable for 4 textbooks to be carried on a daily bases. It's a tote bag that cost lest than $15.

it is my fault for not looking at the materials closer, but the bag is 100% polyester. i thought they were canvas because that is what i was looking for and is was the other totes i looked at buying were made of in the recommendation section, and they looked canvas to me in the photo.

i thought it looked better in the picture, but this basically looks like a giant reusable grocery bag. i bought it in forest green. i do not like the color in person either. i was looking for a cute, cheap summer tote for everyday use. the straps seem like they would not be comfortable on your shoulder all day.

pro: it does seem like it is sturdy.
