A great all round fly rod and reel combo Sep 16, 2009

The Saltwater Scientific Anglers fishing outfit has been a great all round fly rod. I use it on lakes and the saltwater flats. It is well built and performs great. I learned how to cast it within a week.

As I opened the box for this SA 7/8 wt fly rod combo, I was impressed of the visual quality of the rod and that fact that the reel was preloaded with wf-8 flyline. For the price of this complete fly rod and reel combo it's a good deal. This is a nice addtion to my fishing gear and my first fly combo dedicated to salt water. I picked this up for my trip to Hawaii in October. This 4pc set fits perfectly in my 29" suit case. I will leave more feed back on how well it works in the surf. Fish on!

hello, I love it , I actually bought it for my friend and before I send it to him I was looking at it (I didn't open it )and then I decided to buy another one and I was so happy when I found that it was more then good when I touch it :) I altually wanted this fly fshing to catch Jackfish cuz I Used to catch Jackfish by the same way of Fly fishing but by normal fishing rod , I'll try it sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon
